Active
fund raising is in progress and the necessary
approvals have been secured. In
the
meantime, a band is being taught at another tower.
Cropwell
Bishop
After
a long period of discussion, approval has finally
been given to construct a ringers gallery, thus allowing a Tea bar and
disabled
toilet to be installed on the ground floor.
Dunham
on Trent
Following
closure of the church, the bells will be removed
as a complete ring for installation elsewhere in the diocese.

A
bell has been donated by the Keltek trust to provide a
new treble and a faculty has been granted. There is space in
the existing
frame for the new pit and a grant has been agreed by the Bell Fund
towards the
work. The
local band is making
good progress in both learning and fund raising.
