Work recently completed

Whatton in the Vale(8)
All 8 clappers have now been refurbished although some further work is needed on the wooden tenor clapper to allow for the slightly unusual profile of the bell.  On the other hand, the long standing problem of getting the tenor up 'right' has now been solved.  A grant and a loan towards this work has been given.

Thoroton(3)
A treble for the existing 3 has now been installed.  The bell was donated by the BRF and the costs of hanging and provision of volunteer labour came from local efforts.

Elston (6)
The work to refurbish the fittings and putting the bells in good going order has been completed.  The BRF gave a grant towards the cost and provided a considerable amount of labour to augment local efforts.  The bells were dedicated on 10 October 2010.
